International English Language Testing System

The University Language Centre is a regional testing centre for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

IELTS is an internationally recognised assessment of English language proficiency designed to determine the ability of non-native speakers of English who intend to study or train in English.

IELTS is accepted by most British, Australian, Canadian and New Zealand and many other global academic institutions. It is also accepted by many professional organisations, for example the UK General Medical Council , UK Ministry of Defence and UKBA .

**This test will be held on 12 and 13 July. Attendance is required on both dates.
